Adoption Costs

Fees Paid to Adoption Agency
Adoption Home Study Fee-$2,450 (Paid, Praise the Lord!)
Program Fee 1-$5,500 (PAID! Praise the Lord)
Program Fee 2-$3,000 (Due when referral is accepted)
Post Placement Fee-2,000 (Due when referral is accepted)
Total Bethany Fee is 12,950 dollars
*We pay these fees to our adoption agency for everything they do, including working with the government, doing our home study, working with the South African Government, etc
*The referral is essentially when we are given a child!

Other Fees
South Africa Program fees-$13,000-$14,000 (based on exchange rate)
-We will pay this to the South African Government before we travel and while we are there

Process and Immigration fees-$1,450 (PAID! Praise the Lord)
-This is for immigration, passport, visa, etc for our child

Travel and Accommodation Fees-$13,000 (approximately)
-This will help us pay for airfare, accommodation in South Africa, and transportation while we are there.

Overall Costs for adoption-Approximately $41,000 Dollars
